olympus51342
I have a 2010 Defender 110 Puma which I bought for my dear lady. We have found that the drivers area gets very very hot to the point that if travelling more than 10 miles you have to have the air con on no matter how cold it may be outside. The transmission tunnel, from the footwell to behind the drivers seat gets hot and hot air seems to blow in from every place possibe. On long runs over 1 hour in length the steel plate under the drivers seat becomes so hot that you can not rest you hand on it. Yeovil land rover have been very helpful - not - there answer to every technical problem is - 'Its a Defender what do you expect' people use then to drive around fields not drive long distances. Has anyone got any advice or hints please Mark
Happyoldgit
Find another dealer or start banging desks higher up the ladder, a call to Land Rover customer services might not go amiss. The vehicle is still well within the warranty period, don't accept being fobbed off by lazy dealers!
Gromit
Agreed - time to get shouty with Customer Services. (You could also have a quick look and see if there's any oil in the gearboxes. )
