JimAttrill
I've been using MTF since 1996 when I first heard about it on what was then the LRO forum. Defender now on 220 000 kms no problems.
imspanners
Forgive me if I'm incorrect, but I believe that Fords MT75 oil (used in Transit and Mondeo gearboxes) is the same spec as the recommended ATF with additives. Which would make it more widely available, and possibly cheaper?
XR650
mmmm...good call.....thanks...just got my my one owner 1995 Disco with 178000kms on it with full service history and the gearbox is still good with no sloppiness in it at all so I`m making inroads to keep it that way....I do big holiday mileage in the heat of France and Spain and just don`t think the ATF will last the same....
