Evomanny
My 2004 TD4 now has 2 warning lights that randomly come on during normal town driving. One is the TC light and the other is what i presume is the hill descent light. Any idea what could be causing this? Thanks
MJIbex
Dodgy brake pedal switch - would be my 1st guess. If an auto are you using both feet? Mark.
Litch
Really common problem and if you search you will find plenty of information about it. In the case of my wife's vehicle (2006 TD4) it was becasue the brake-light switch was not clicked into position, after reading up on possible causes it took me about 30-seconds to diagnose and less than 10-seconds to fix. Litch
Did you check that the switch was in position first or are you just going to risk it that the switch is the fault? I have to admit they are so cheap and easy to replace that it isn't a bad thing because even if it doesn't cure it at least you can be 100% certain you have eliminated it as a possible cause. Stacey
can anyone send a picture of where the switch is or a link to video so I can fit my new brake switch?
