Ronny S
For a while I have had problems with ABS/TC-light on my MY2006 110 SW. The light started blinking and after a while it's constantly on. Today I found this Anyone know how much I have to change? Or can I just replace the part of the wire that is gone? Partnumber? Ronny S
Thanks a lot Western. Do I have to change the whole sensor, or just the wire? Ronny S
western
looks like a new sensor with the wiring connected as far as the next connector, so should be a straight swap. or it might just be the wiring to plug into the sensor & the next connector in the cable run. I cannot find a decent photo of it.
Bowie69
On the RRC there's a plug along the inside edge of the inner wing, you may find this is the same on the Defender, it's just a small black round two pin plug about 10mm diameter. Ronny S
Thanks a lot. I'll have a look for the connector/plug tomorrow. Must the new item be adjusted? I think about the teeth in the hub that are giving the signals to the ABS-sensor. And another thing. We put on longer springs, dampers, brakehoses... But is there longer ABS-wiringlooms? I have not lifted my car, but I came to wondering about it. Regards, Ronny S (from Norway)
western
just make sure the sensor it the correct distance from the hub/disc, LR wouldn't have longer cables made for the abs sensors, but a aftermarket supplier might. but don't know of any.
