Off Road Toad Posted September 2, 2011 Author Share Posted September 2, 2011 Well, i don't know what all the fuss was about I pressure washed it out, filled it with fairy liquid n water and left it for a week, emptied it out and proceeded to grind and plasma cut (and weld up the extra holes i'd made with the plasma cutter) No problems at all. In West Africa recently (Mali/Bamako) a backstreet mechanic and his boys dropped the 90L tank off our Land Cruiser washed it out with some detergent and set about brazing up the holes standard affair in Africa Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
