landy V8
Hi All, Having just got the parts which i thought were the right one's for my Salisbury rear disc conversion (300tdi Disco 1)after searching through on here i seem to have a problem. The stub axles won't fit on the casing as they have integral castings on the reverse of the stub axle so won't sit flush. So i thought i'd mount them on the original stubs but they protrude too far out the hub. If i have to go to the expense of buying new stub axle's (and getting 300tdi halfshafts),then i'll try and get hold 2 110 front hubs and mount them that way with a spacer on the caliper bracket. So,has anybody got any 110 front hubs or the correct rear stub axles lying around gathering dust that they could sell on the cheap. :D cheers Ralph

landy V8
read all those already,it's just trying to get the hubs thats the problem.i'll put up another wanted ad. basically it would make it a whole lot easier using my original drum stub axles with 110 front hubs and a spacer on the caliper bracket. ajh
I had a set of drum stubs machined to match the profile of the front stubs and all is fine. I also used Discovery rear calipers and caliper mounts (machined to align the caliper correctly) once I got it setup it's been trouble free.
