defender-kris Posted October 18, 2011 Share Posted October 18, 2011 hi lads i have just swoped my engines over as the last one when bang it is a defender 130 300tdi and i put a disco 300tdi engine in it place the engine runs fine when its on tick over the needle on temp gage sit in the midle but as soon as i drive it after 10 min the needle go s on to the red WHY IS THIS any help would be appreciated kris Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Mo Murphy Posted October 19, 2011 Share Posted October 19, 2011 Take the temp sender out of your old Defender engine and put it in the new Discovery engine. Then report back on the gauge readings.
