gadget
I've just picked up a 110 TD5 and the brakes on it make my Discovery brakes look like F1 performers. The pedal feels like I expect it should, it just doesn't seem to stop anywhere near as quickly as my Discovery. Is this how 110 TD5 brakes are or should I add the brakes to my list of things that need looking at?
oap
Well there are good on my 110 td5 but I have never driven a td5 disco so its hard to answer your question. If you think there is something up with them then go with your gut feeling and fix them or get them looked at. 100 posts
discomikey
giv em a quick check up, theoretically they should be as good, but has the 110 got ABS? i doubt it. this might be the difference.
gadget
My gut feeling is that something isn't right, but it's my first Defender so i'm in to new territory. Perhaps it has cheap pads fitted? I'll take the wheels off and have a look to see if there's anything obviously amiss. The 110 doesn't have ABS, but does having ABS increase applied breaking force?
