Mark Jenkins
I've just had an LT77 gearbox fitted to my 90, a recon unit from Bearmach, to replace the mainshaft worn box that was on previously. Although it is improved in that the shaft is unworn and so doesn't judder and slip, when decelerating or under braking when in 4th gear, it frequently 'pops' out into neutral. It doesn't do this when throttle is applied. I am sure I have read something fairly recently on the forum about a spring or dog that engages the gear. Can anyone direct me as to what the fault might be? Mark
simonb
erm, if its a new recon, then shouldn't Bearmach be sorting it out or giving you a replacement???
western
Don't mess with it, get Bearmach to sort it, it should be under a 12month warranty at the very least.
