RustyNissanPrairie
Has anyone ever fitted a Forge or Collins etc 'adjustable' wastegate actuator instead of the standard wastegate actuator on a 200tdi? Reason being that mine is dented im looking to increase boost pressure slightly and not have to pay Landrovers huge price for a replacement
vulcan bomber
200TDi's shouldnt be run at more than 14.5 PSI of boost despite what you read.

At these pressures the turbo's are flowing near enough the same.

RustyNissanPrairie
irrespective of actual pressure that the turbo will be running at - I still need a new actuator, Forge, Collins etc are machined aluminium and half the price of LR and wont rust/corrode. Has anyone used anyhting different than the standard LR setup?
discomikey
you wont damage anything untill you start to get 18psi plus. mine has been at 18psi for over 2 years, no problems, many others have too. and i know a guy whos 300tdi is running 22psi at the turbo, which is a bit too much really. but he hadnt touched the wastegate so must have been like that for years with no troubles. And I wonder how much that changes over the years...
