buddelflink
Hallo, had someone more information, especially registration document, about this trailer? Thanks. Regards Rene
plasticbadger
I know it's a 1 3/4 ton Arrows trailer, ex-UK MOD. http://www.mod-sales.com/auction/vehicle/related/38543/1.34_Ton_Trailer_Arrows_EX_Military.htm
western
Normall towed by the 4 tonne Bedford MK/MJ or Leyladn DAF 4x4 trucks, Army reckon it's to wide to Tow behind a 90 or 110.
pete3000
The pintle height and ring dia will be a tad large for the dixon bate hitch on a 90/110. Often see that size trailer with genny's on 15-25KvA behind a 4 tonner
buddelflink
Thanks. The manufacterer is Parotow Ltd. At this time I use the trailer behind a LR 110 V8. It works fine, but the LR-hook is ca. 20cm to deep and therefore the trailer is a little bit angular. Had anybody a manual or more technical informations? jai_landrover
I towed one back from a farm in Northampton behind my 90 on a std nato hitch. Trailer is quite wide. I ended up getting rid of the trailer but still have 2x wheels and tyres. I think they are 825 R16 wheel nuts are like bedfords LH and RH threads. Guest
If it's for a Land Rover you would be better with a rapier trailer as it has the same PCD as a Land Rover they are also slighty narrower than the Arrows trailer above. Jason.
landroversforever
NATO tow ring is 76mm standard, I thought the ones like that for going behind the Bedfords had a larger hitch? or am I wrong?

pete3000
must be an optical illusion thing. I was convinced there were two different sizes (for different weights). I know for sure the commercial 2 tonne ring hitch is smaller dia and cross section?
western
Civvy ring hitch is 32mm IIRC, there is a bigger nato pintle which has a bolt fixing to rear of a HGV chassis, IIRC these are 10tonne or 35tonne, the D.R.O.P.S. Foden's & Scammels's 8X6 trucks would have these.
