GBMUD Posted January 13, 2012 Share Posted January 13, 2012 I changed the bearing in mine as the idler was wobbly, the result was that the new one was just as wobbly - the reason being that it is only a single ball raced bearing so it is in it's nature to be wobbly. The main issue with mine (the problem was a squeaking belt) turned out to be that the sprung tension mechanism was completely FUBAR so I ended up replacing the whole thing which cured the problem.
