stuck
Obviously being a Defender I've never needed to use the hazard lights but I need them for the MOT that is now overdue. Tried them t'other day and nada, replaced the switch and it now works but only the off side lights flash. With the hazard switch on if I indicate left the near side flashes as well (with the ignition off) Any ideas chaps? Cheers, Mick.
Mutley
Check relay? Would suggest wire from lights to fuse box OK if the indicators work when used off indicator lever, so that will save time if you have to trace wires to find the problem. landrover620
I had a similar problem a while ago i fitted a new switch and that didn't fix it, i found that if i held the switch firmly the hazards worked fine. I stripped the new switch and after a bit of fine tuning of the contacts problem solved. Hope this helps.
stuck
Landrover620' Found exactly the same today, with the hazard switch on if I press firmly on the centre of the switch all of the indicators flash. Due to a problem I have with my left hand I can't strip the switch so I've ordered another new one (not from Fleabay this time!) Cheers, Mick.
