300tdi Fuel problem

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I am in need of assistance. I have a Discovery series 1 300tdi, Headgasket, timing belt etc changed. All back together and vehicle starts, however, I now have fuel coming from spill pipes in reverse? (fuel coming from spill pipes with excessive pressure, causing pipes to blow off).

There is hardly any fuel coming from no4 injector pipe but there is air present when running (only running on 3 cyls)

I have checked timing over and over , Crank at TDC, cam mark correct and Pin locates in injector pump.

New fuel pump fitted but not much resistance, however, it does prime.

I have no idea what is wrong :( - has anyone encountered similar issues, if so, please HELP :excl:

Marc
