Does anyone know who made the aluminium dashboardin the tomb raider hi cap for the movie? i read online somewhere it was a fabrication firm in Scotland.

yes IIRC land rover made it all in their special vehicles department.

I would have a serious think if you really want acres of shiny aluminium in front of you on a sunny day.

IMHO Looks good in the movie, but carp to drive with.

Just as an aside to this, does anyone know what happened to the film model of both of them if i remember right, did one end up at dunsfold or in private hands?

One is in the Heritage motor museum at Gaydon.

There are at least two. One is at Gaydon and I believe one is in private hands somewhere. I want to say there are 4?

I know Land Rover experience had one at one stage :)

One in the Heritage museum, one is owned by Landrover Experience and one is in the USA.

Probably just me but I think that looks awful!

You could make one that looked really good .... unfortunately on close inspection Land Rover didn't manage it ..... I guess it's like most movie props, only has to look good from a distance.
