Its brilliant, its good to see people still have humour and take the trouble to give others a laugh - one of the sellers 'other items' is particularly funny and I recall one apprentice at the loco works in 1970 (ish) being sent for a can of that stuff :-)

The 107" TC in the background in one of the pic's looks ok , and more old iron beyond in the barn , and an old 'mog in another ?

the listing however is in a different league......

I know there HAS to be a reason why the body is sitting about a foot (I'm old) above the chassis but for the life of me I can't work it out

It's never occurred to me until now that the term "rat rod" could be so badly abused.

Not on ebay, and maybe not even bucket-worthy, but I'll just leave this here.

Is_it_an_RX8_on_Rangie.png.95ff9210b1d4b48482afb95476843b56.png

Spotted on the loose in Hampshire yesterday... guessing that's an RX8 body on a Rangie chassis, but who knows?

I know rx8's are cheap and plenty full due to engine failure but why would you do that?

Claims to be fully legal but reg'd as LR 1982 when 90 started in 1983 must be RRC chassis?

If it had been done better i.e. lower and nicer colour it could be OK, I like the flared arches but not the angled rad panel.

I think they must have meant 'hysteric' rather than 'historic' - there are lots of typos on the listing page as well....
