Nigelw
what do we think of this 110DC then http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/land-rover-defender-/111255986321 That is one of the most hideous things in existence and I would be ashamed to be seen in it!!!! I thought I was going a bit far re-covering my dash but holy f**k me sideways that is just wrong, they needed a RRS or an Ewok not a fender. CwazyWabbit
It does make me laugh to see the amount of effort and skilled work people put into destroying perfectly good Defenders......

Nigelw
Can anyone tell me why on earth they modded the doors to have sliding windows in? Not sure what they were hoping to achieve, retro cool or something? But wonder more as to whether or not it was done up for the US market but now will not meet the criteria as it does not conform to VIN? Just an idea? CwazyWabbit
If it actually was a 1988 then it isn't old enough for the US yet anyway is it? Thought it was 25 years and older. Looks like the V5 has it down as 'SILVER LAND ROVER 110 4C SW DT DIESEL'

CwazyWabbit
Well apart from my inability to tell what year I am currently in ........ That has a puma dash and bulkhead and a disc braked rear axle ...... I wonder if they fitted a puma chassis as well ?

Landy'd Gentry
The concept of turning a reasonable vehicle into a mobile scrap heap if not that unusual. but if you look further than the amateur body work (which I'd remove) you have a fairly cheap source of parts, or the basis of a project.
