ChrisB
Picking up the point about any other work to do at the same time, If your axle seals are leaking, check that the axle case breather isn't blocked. Disconnect it from the axle case and then blow down the tube, ideally with compressed air, but check it's clear anyhow.
farmerboy_y2k
Mtf is aparently a bit thinner than ATF to give better gear changes.. Having had an LT77 and an R380 in my 110, i cant tell the difference between the oils, there even the same colour! ATF is SAE 10w, Morris' version of MTF94 which they recomend for the R380 is SAE 75W/80. The oil pump in the LT77 doesn't like thicker oils. Data sheets here; http://www.morrislubricants.co.uk/Downloads/TDS%20Liquimatic%20DII.pdf and http://www.morrislubricants.co.uk/Downloads/Lodexol%20MTF%20TDS%20137%20Iss%202.pdf
cackshifter
Morris actually recommend Lodexol MT75 specifically for the LT77, see http://www.morrislubricants.co.uk/scripts/prodview.asp?idcat=56&idProduct=66 as opposed to Lodexol MTF for R380s. muddy
I have some fully synth 75/90 and some evo 2, the evo is much more runny than the 75/90. Only had a drop of evo so stuck atf in my r380.
