TD5 Start up-Minor Issue

Recommended Posts

Hopefully this is just an electrical gremlin, it happend for the 3rd time today

Just as the engine has fired up the speedo travels all the round the clock and then settles back

Everything is working fine, just wondered if anyone else has experienced this

Usual start up procedure, wait for all lighst to go out etc before turning over

Cheers

Jason

Hmmm I have seen this once before and I can't recall the fault (it was worse than yours, happening all the time) it either needed a new speedo head or a new sensor in the t/box, I think it was the latter.

Not a very helpful answer is it, a bit like saying "this axe is broken" - "it either needs a new handle, or a new head" :)

An answer is an answer no matter the content

Think I will wait and see what happens, you never know if I stick my head in the sand the problem might resolve itself :D
