Odd crankseal problem

The current seal is genuine (see picture with the box), bought from the landrover dealer. It does not have the 'G' added if you buy it of landrover. It works ok so far, but not many miles done. The money spent on genuine parts is certainly worth it in this situation.

Yeh I found if you put G at the end of the part number, it doesn't mean much. I've ordered the dowty seal from turner, it's pricey but I'm hoping it'll last a while. 

 

Clutch and gaskets still to be ordered, bit more research to find out what I actually need in total. ??

I'm not familiar with the red seal? I could only find the ones mentioned on this thread. Comparing the "turners" seal to one off ebag, there did appear to be a quality difference. So far so good, I'm just back from a 1000km trip and no oil is leaking from the bellhousing so it's did a good job.
