Early90
I think you should call it the X-XXXX OFF PEDAL BOX. Leading to a range of X-XXXX OFF products. Of course everyone will read it as something else.Shows off the X- brand well and injects a bit of humour too.
Orange
How would you feel about a slight flip in the location of the 'X'? My suggestion would be... Wait for it... Drum roll, please... Prot-X!!! Yes, I know, not very imaginative, but it would then give you scope for two-word products: Prot-X Pedal Prot-X Brake Etc, etc...

simonr
OK, here is an exhaustive list in alphabetical order with duplicates removed. I've only kept the first person to come up with each of them. I've also deleted the ones which did not match the X-Something formula or those that started X-Eng Something. This evening (in the pub) we'll come up with a short list then add a poll for you to decide the overall winner! x-(something) lock Jad X-ABC lock Orgasmic Farmer X-aegis Lobosdoc X-andbacon TheRecklessEngineer X-Anti Scrote Phil Hancock X-Armour Steve 200tdi x-asperate Anderzander X-Attack Paul MC x-block dog1 X-Blocks Chadler X-Blox Chadler X-Box HoSS X-Calibur Hybrid from Hell X-cell PaulMc X-cellence Ballcock X-ceptional Ballcock X-Change Steve 200tdi X-Clamp Barriesheene X-clap trap Orgasmic Farmer X-Clude Hybrid from Hell X-Control C18RCH X-Cover Big Mike X-Cube fozug X-D Lock Diff X-defence Jad X-Defend CwazyWabbit X-Deflects CwazyWabbit X-Elephant Bluehaze X-ES CwazyWabbit X-Fastener Bluehaze X-Fend Spearos X-flap Ianl1 X-Floor Tuko X-foot locker Orgasmic Farmer X-Fortify CwazyWabbit X-Fortress Quagmire X-G Lock Diff X-Guard Quagmire X-Guard Box CwazyWabbit X-Guard Ignition CwazyWabbit X-guarddog Lobosdoc X-Hard Guard Crclifford X-Hibit Hybrid from Hell X-hold Lobosdoc X-Impede C18RCH X-intercept Lobosdoc X-ist CwazyWabbit X-It Les Brock X-jam Muddy X-Jock Orgasmic Farmer X-keeper Gazelle X-Lox Zoltan X-Off UdderlyOffRoad X-on Ballcock X-ORCIST Mike444244 X-oskeleton Quagmire X-otic Ballcock X-P Lock Diff X-Pedal David Sparkes X-pediant Ballcock X-Pert Ballcock X-Pert-Witness Hybrid from Hell X-plate Borris113 X-Plode Meccano X-Praetorian Bluehaze X-pregnable Spearos X-Press C18RCH X-presso Ballcock X-protect Dan110 X-protection Maverik X-Protex Paul MC Xquizit BishBosh X-Raptor Warthog X-Repel Diablo X-Resist Diablo X-Rhino Bluehaze X-S Big Mike X-safe Dan110 X-Safety Tuko X-SAS CwazyWabbit X-Second Tuko X-Secure Retroanaconda X-Securem Bluehaze X-Security Tuko X-sentry Lobosdoc X-Shield CwazyWabbit X-Spell Hybrid from Hell X-Steal C18RCH X-Steel C18RCH X-Stop Fatbloke X-Stopper Tuko X-Target Gazzar X-Terminate Superpants X-Terminator Superpants X-theft Lobosdoc X-Tra Safe Big Mike X-tra Secure David Sparkes X-treme Ballcock X-truder Muddy X-TWOC Fridgefreezer X-vantage Landy-Novice X-vex Orgasmic Farmer X-Victim Gazzar X-ward Lobosdoc X-Watch Diablo X-watchdog Lobosdoc X-XXXX OFF Early90

Guest
Well I picked my X-Defend Gear Lock at Billing on Saturday. Fitted today, really simple especially as I had the truck in bits anyway, it works really well and add another layer of protection to my Defender. I can't fit a pedal lock at the moment as I have A/C but Si assures me he will work on that, I will however be fitting a steering lock protector when they get made. By jasong4110 at 2012-08-12 Thanks again Si for making another great product. Jason.
CwazyWabbit
So that's where the sticker goes! I have to agree, it's a great product ..... I'd fitted mine before I even left Billing they're that simple Even managed it with the raptor dash and under tray still in place!
missingsid
Definetly would like a one for a Series as well. I'm sure I could gas axe one to fit if it came to it. Si, As my Series 1 has Defender foot wells and Series 111 pedals fitted to the bulkhead is there a chance this might fit? the only concern i have (which you will have thought of) is that the defender flooring is held down with plastic threaded blocks where the base of your plate seems to be located? Cheers, Marc.
CwazyWabbit
Marc, The base of the pedal lock plate actually bolts into the floor with 6 bolts it doesn't bolt into the bulkhead lip and doesn't use any of the existing fixings, you need to drill 6 new holes. All 6 bolt holes don't actually need to be used, a minimum of 3 are recommended in the instructions, some may not be usable depending what is on the other side of the floor panel. Probably not - but if you bring it to one of the shows, I'd be happy to have a go! As Barry says, it's bolted through the floor which is in turn held in with a load of the plastic inserts. The inserts once they have a screw in them are almost impossible to remove from underneath. I tried beating one with a hammer and it just deformed the floor! Even if you do remove them all (and there are quite a few holding the floor down), you cannot lift the floor from underneath because the pedal box holds the floor down. Also, if you are going to spend half an hour beating it with a hammer, the owner will probably wake up and come beat you with a big stick! Diablo
when are these things going live on your website Si?
simonr
As soon as more stock is manufactured! Billing was a sell-out on the security stuff. I'm hoping to have more pedal box locks in about 3 weeks (in time for Peterborough) and the gear locks in a few days. I decided not to make that bit of the site live until I had something to sell!
