duncmc
As I understand it a 300tdi has a mechanical fuel pump on the engine. There is a "how to change" one in the technical section http://forums.lr4x4....showtopic=23135 .
mudmagnet
ive changed the lift pump but ive got a fuse for a fuel pump in the engine bay fuse box so i assumed it had an electric pump
fozsug
Mechanical pump only, someone's obviously just put a fuse in the slot
duncmc
I am not an expert on this, but had a look in my RAVE and I found a circuit diagram and fuse details for a 1995 300tdi disco. Yours is a 93 isn't it? Assuming it is similar, fuse 6 in the engine compartment fuse box supplies the multifunction relay and the electric fuel pump (on the MFI and V8). lyron
300tdi only have mechanical pumps, v8s have the electric ones, as mentioned the fuse is left out if its the tdi as it serves no purpose. ron.
