strangerover Posted August 31, 2006 Share Posted August 31, 2006 Very interesting post... Just wanted to add that I am no welder but do dabble in this demon art... Have tried MIG welding several times and yes its easy to make a weld look good its not so easy to actualy make a decent weld.. I use Gas welding... find it easy enough and I like the fact you can "play" with the pool very handy on old rusty disco sills. only down side is the heat covers a large area and needs to be watched by a "fire watch", but I think for automotive rerpairs offers some of the strongest results.... but let it cool naturaly !
