sj_4x4 Posted May 21, 2012 Share Posted May 21, 2012 Round three of the Mud Monsters 2012 winch challenge is on the 17th of June at the new Mud Monsters 2 site located just south of East Grinstead in sunny West Sussex. The site is split into two, a hilly wooded section with river at the base and a large bomb hole with lots of climbs and a nasty looking bog. Places may be limited, so book early to avoid disappointment. More information to follow. sj_4x4 Posted May 23, 2012 Author Share Posted May 23, 2012 We now have access to the campsite next door so can offer proper camping facilites with flush toilets and showers, competitors get free camping, pit crew and spectators will have to pay £5 a head. The site is 5 minutes south of East Grinstead, the post code RH19 4HP will take you to Grinstead Lane, we are using a Scout camp for parking and camping so best behaviour please, there are several camping fields look for Mud Monsters signs on the gate. The London to Brighton bike ride is talking place on the same day, and uses some of the local roads, namely the B2028 through Turners Hill, so please take extra care and allow extra time. We will be on site from Saturday Lunchtime, and there is camping, free for driver and bitch, £5 per head for spectators. This is a new site, most of it has never been driven, there is quite a long river section so expect a fair bit of water and a lot of mud after this extended drought we've had. Spectators welcome, please make sure if you bring children with you they wear high viz clothing.
