Stage 1 Land Rover

Recommended Posts

I was watching Wheeler Dealers, they bought and sold a Stage 1 V8;

I really like the front, much less plasticy than the Defender. Wondered how hard it would be to give a Defender the Stage 1 look.

Although it would feel a bit wrong to make it none original, neither one thing nor the other...

Unscrew the defender grill, screw the stage one grill on. Put six blanking plugs in the redundant screw holes.

Head lamp bezels will also fit i believe.

Drink tea/beer/cider.

mine is similar as it has not got the plastic lights surrounds like most but i have a normal defender grill. I have got the plastic light surrounds to fit but i prefer it with out as it looks a little differnt.

I agree, I think less platic suits the landrover look. I'll do that with mine, probably leave the grill, would be a good compromise.
