cosecon
Try transport auction site : shiply.com
zardos
Try http://www.parcel2go.com/ I've used them before to ship 4 large tyres via pallet force (pallet force will ship a lot of things as long as they are on a pallet, weight and size does not really come in to it, they charge per pallet - note they do have some restrictions, like the gearbox would have to have no oil in it and the sender needs to supply pallet)
mcc1979ian
ok so today placed an ad with shiply, first quote came in at £80 + £13.99 auction fee, used parcel2go quite alot, they do 50kg as a package instead of a pallet so should manage a good price that way
Ratty43
Sameday-delivery.com (or something along those lines) are very good in my experience. The shipping limits are huge so you definitely won't have any problems on that front.
mcc1979ian
Just found http://www.paisleyfreight.com/ £30 from hertfordshire to scottish borders, next day delivery, its 40 kg limit but im sure when an LT77's drained its about that anyway

ejparrott
Got a disco LT in the shed, I'll try and weight it later for you if you like?
mcc1979ian
if you could it would be much appreciated, i asked the guy who i won it off to do it but he just plain refused to do it, its bad enough getting him to package it.
scaniaman2
Have you tried searching under pallet delivery. A lot of the couriers supply pallets, I used one called National Pallets and they were really helpful and cheap.
davie
parcel monkey i used last time, all you need is dimensions, weight, to and from postcodes and you see many companies prices at once.
mcc1979ian
used paisley freight, the guy wrapped it in plenty bubblewrap then a coat of pallet wrap, £30 delivered and next day service, cant say better than that.
