Troll Hunter
At last I've completed the write-up of the repair of the steel frames on all four side doors on my 1991 110CSW. I hope it is of use to anyone contemplating the same exercise. Mike Defender Door Repair Project.pdf
Ian Barrett
Thanks Mike. Both my front doors are well past their best and this is a job I intend to do this winter. So I've saved your document for use then. Cheers. IanB

Meatslicer
nice write up, detailed and photographed nicely. Cant say I would have the patience to do it, but now I know how, if I ever had a free week to do it! Cheers. Eric
CwazyWabbit
Very nice write up How are they holding up?
Troll Hunter
ATM I'm doing a major tear down, intending to get the chassis, and perhaps some other bits, galved. I've got the doors off and they're holding up well, which they should be, since they were only done 5 years ago. The drain holes appear to have been working OK, and I don't think I'll need to give the steel work another coat of paint. Mike
CwazyWabbit
Excellent, mine are long due an overhaul. So no problems on the rust treated parts? Success with rust treatments has been variable in the past .....
