Telescopic mast top and bottom mounts ???

Hi,

Some time ago I adquired the rear-left quarter mast mount (wolf), but I think that it is a bit flimsy to hold a mast when the car is on the move.

Recently I saw a photo of a wolf scale model (flickr) where the mast was sitting over a bumperett, and there was a top bracket attached to the top end of the roof, just above the circular cable entry thing. It looked sturdy.

I'm looking for part numbers, drawings, photos... or any other info you might have to buy or replicate the parts.

Many thanks in advance,

Carlos

The bottom mast bumperette brackets are on sale on ebay, not cheap, but if your planning on mounting a mast, they're a god send. Other brackets do appear from time to time, and there are dealers in Wolf/WMIK equipment around, you just have to find them. Sorry I can't be of more help. Goodluck. John.

If it is of any help - these are the mounts used on a S3 for the 8m or 12m masts. The bumperettes are Defender ones as the Series equivalents are made from unobtanium these days...
