tweetyduck
I've found some injectors and they aren't Bosch. Are there some other manufacturers that make quality injectors? I'll find out who they are made by but at the moment I don't know. If its anything like bearings theres a few good known manufacturers and as long as its one of the known ones they should be as good as Bosch, right ?? Ex Member
Get new Bosch nozzles. They are not expensive.
tweetyduck
I was going for the complete injector. What is required to just do the nozzles or isn't that what you meant ?
RustyNissanPrairie
the nozzle is just the main squirty part of the whole injector (or nozzle holder to give it its proper name) no point replacing the whole thing - just replace the nozzle - but it does require someone who knows what they're doing and surgically clean place to strip an injector (or nozzle holder) and an injector calibration pump. Otherwise if funds allow and lack of talent prevails then change the whole lot.
Dads Toy
Just had mine done at a long standing diesel specialist in Stoke-on-Trent. They offered nozzles from both Bosch or an Italian make they've used for years - Bosch was twice the price. They reckon they've never had any Italian one's brought back because of problems. I went for the Italian one's and so far so good. The specialist seem to have done a good job and 24hr turnround as well. I would not have bought the nozzles off the net and fitted them, they recommended them and supply them. Malcolm

rick
Here it's much cheaper to buy new injectors than get them serviced and your injector prices in the UK/Europe are so much cheaper than what we pay. Most places can't check the second stage crack pressures either as the injector body is crimped together. It can be done, but you get charged for it. The injector body is 1 piece, it has a cap on the front that when undone allows the workings of an injector to fall out.
