"Why the **** things have to break when you need them and not when you don't" surely your defender just disproved this.... if it had broken down just minutes later then they would have missed their flight. You could say that it broke down at a fortuitous time. you're still alive, have a beer and marvel at how your life is so great that you've been given enough time and distance from hardship to think otherwise...
