tobac
My Freelander is a 2.6V6 petrol motor. It has been consistantly using around 55 litres of fuel every 350km. Lately it has got worse and I am only getting around 230 to 250km per tank. Has anyone any suggestions where to look? The car has recently been serviced but it made no difference. Thanks. Tanuki
Could be a load of things: Underinflated tyres; Dragging brakes; Failed coolant temperature sensor; Thermostat stuck open; Collapsed catalyst or exhaust-baffles; Failed Lambda-sensors. First thing I'd do is get the engine fault-codes read. --Tanuki.
