hsf
Hi Help needed, lost the offside side/marker lights and at the same time dash illumination has also gone !! checked all obvious fuses none blown but somebody had put a 30a in place of 10a on sidelights, changed this for a ten, I have run out of time tonight but need to get that back light working as self employed and its my work vehicle, cannot afford to get pulled or put it in dealeship so your help would be appreciated. I had been towing a trailer and the light one side got broken and this seemed to trigger the problem, checked trailer fuse but that ok? is it a canbus system on these as I noticed there is no 7 way relay on the trailer connection. thanks for any help you can give me.regards
BogMonster
I might be barking up the wrong tree but I think it's fed from the IDM in the main fusebox, if so and if one of the fuses has been way over specified, maybe you had a wiring fault that blew the guts of the IDM up instead of blowing the fuse. sierrafery
which were the "obvious" fuses in this case m8? ... i'm just curious .... anyway if you meant F33 in the interior fusebox you was spot on, in this case BogMonster might be spot on too and the internals of the fusebox(IDM) were affected , cos through F33 goes the feed for RH side/tail/marker and dash illumination...if i mixed again offside with nearside and offside is LH side this story is the same for fuse F11
