I.B.ASH
Hi. Im getting myself some new rims and and tyres. The 265 75 16 will fit wont it? It just on the web-sit it says it needs a 2 inch lift which Im not keen on doing (dont need it , I just want bigger tyres on my stock landy, and yes it is purely because I think big tyres look cool). This is the web page; http://tyresdirectuk.co.uk/shop/product-info.php?prodname=x4-265/75R16-Malatesta-Kobra-on-16x8-Black-Modular-(Land-Rover)--&id=17144 I am currently running this tyre (only smaller) and Iv always liked it. Cheers, Ash
Retroanaconda
Yes. I believe the "with a 2 inch lift" is referring to fitment to Discovery 1 models, where clearance is a bit less forthcoming out of the factory. I bet they're fun in the wet! I.B.ASH
Hello. Yeah I was thinking they may have just been referring to the Discovery, but tis good to get it sorted. No problem in the wet at all, but then again Im never really going fast enough on tarmac roads to go all squrley, for snow and mud they are ace, and iv never had much noise off of them (hard to belive I know!). Off Road Toad
265/75R16 was standard fitment on 300tdi era Defenders (the posh spec ones at least)
