western
Correct, 40Nm, 60 degrees & a further 60 degrees, :i-m_so_happy:all the headbolts get the same torque/degree settings. have you got a degree gauge to fit on your torque wrench ? western
degree torque gauge like this for example, http://www.ebay.co.u...d=251179130171 best not to guess,
Orgasmic Farmer
No need to guess. Each flat on a 6 sided bolt represents 60 degrees. So after tightening to 40NM you can mark one flat on the bolt and put a mark on the head next to the 1st and second flats following it and work to those marks. A bit better than guessing but still not as good as a torque guage
bushwhacker
Hi Get a gauge and maybe a set of new head bolts if you are unsure how many times the head has been off. You've already got the h/gasket, Elring was suggested to me which I did use. DON'T ASK HOW I KNOW.
