MuddyWinny
Hello, I have just fitted a Discovery 300tdi into my 90 (was 2.25 petrol). Amongst a number of things to tidy the Discovery fuel pipes are too short. Does anyone know what will fit? I have been looking at 200 tdi pipes ESR394 and ESR395. mark-d
did you fit the 300 close to the bulk head or closer to the rad? as the 200 one could be to short if the latter You could always make your own
Eightpot
200Tdi ones will be the closest fit, 300Tdi won't fit. Easiest route if you have a discovery breakers to hand is just buy the length of hose from tank to pump for a few quid, then you have more than enough to fit. you could also buy regular fuel hose of the right diameter and good hose clamps. MuddyWinny
Hello, The engine is closer to the bulkhead than the radiator as I kept the LT77 and existing mounts. Local breakers do not have any 200tdi pipes available to I'll probably go down the hose and clamps route. Thanks Mark
L835
Slightly off topic, but having owned two 110's which had been retrofitted with Tdi's, don't forget to change the header tank for a Tdi one! The NA/Td and possibly petrol tank is too small and on mine couldnt cope with the expansion of the coolant, pushing the excess out and needing constant topping up until I changed the tank! JST
just make your own with proper fuel pipe to push over the std OEM plastic pipe and then direct onto the lift pump/FiP
