=jon=
Hi, A snorkel is on the long list of things to get for the 90, but I'm a bit limited as to which I can fit, as I don't have the side vents in the wings... I've seen the Mantec wing top kit that uses the drivers side wing top vent, but it's, errr, pricey at just under 300 quid! Does anyone else make a cheaper option that uses the same pipe routing, or some other routing that won't mean I have to chop large holes in the bodywork? Cheers Jon
Maverik
I've looked around too, i got an old military one, but you could actually blow it up and it would survive, its a little too heavy duty if thats possible. I've decided to make up my own, or at least the wing part of it, then just mate it to a bought top section. Mav
=jon=
I suppose I could chop a hole in the wing - should I need to remove the snorkel as long as I make the hole the right shape I could use the standard grille plate to cover it up... I quite like the idea of the wing top one though!
Guest
Jon, Could you not just take the standard Mantec type snorkel and cut the wing plate off the pipe and then have a piece welded on that matches the wing top blank? the rubber bit and the pipe look the same as a normal one. jbs
What about chopping a hole into the top of the bonnet and running a hose through like the old camel trophy ones? I've had mine like this for about 10 or so years John
