Mean Green
I have just converted my Discovery commercial to electric windows - but they are very very slow. What could cause this?
bushwhacker
Bad electrial connections on the upy/downy thing. I have sprayed wd in the runners to make the glass glide better Do they go faster if the revs are increased? Your battery might need a top up. Bowie69
Silicon on the rubbers, WD40 is likely to eat them...
Mean Green
I recon it is probably the battery - it is very weak as the car has been sitting around for months and it hit or miss if it will start.

The windows will aways be quicker to rise & fall when the engine is running. We assume that you put a dab of grease on the regulator sliders and the motor drive cog, as stated silicone spray is the stuff for the vertical runners
