mikec
Ive just been looking at some items in my parts book and it says, when using the replacement clutch slave cylinder part number ftc5071, the spacer should be discarded. I wonder what the effects of this are, when the spacer is left on, presumable the clutch doesn't disengage quite as much? Reason I ask is I fitted one ages ago, and have just fitted a new one again both times fitting the spacer. Just wondered if this was commonly known or not?? western
never had a spacer on my slave cylinder regardless of which gearbox was fitted, I've had both LT77 & R380.
Big.Mike
This is a V8 cylinder, have you got a picture of the spacer?

mikec
The spacer has part number frc2402, maybe I'm confusing that with the gasket western mentioned, maybe the spacer is quite a bit thicker?
