bushwhacker
Hi. I am in the process of readying my Disco for the MOT. The rear springs have a metal ring and a rubber isolator on the top, do I need these parts or will it be OK without them and are they in the front springs to. I know my 110 and Disco 200 does not have them. I'm thinking bin them? I have found the rubber ring but not the metal ring? Could someone point me in the right direction for all parts diagrams I can download upload halfload fullload or what ever. Thanks.

bushwhacker
Thanks for the advise, new ones will be fitted. It doesn't show a metal ring, I think I need to have another look at what I took out. In the cold light of day.
western
I don't think they have a metal ring, just a rubber ring which sits between the spring & upper mounting.
SPendrey
The rubber ring is bonded to a metal backing plate... that could be what you're seeing?
Stevie D
They are the rubber spring isolater fitted to the back - as said the meatl ring is bonded to the rubber / plastic bit - metal ring corrodes and falls off. Here they are... http://www.paddockspares.com/anr2938-rear-spring-isolater-top-spring-seat-from-ja.html ANR 2938
bushwhacker
Thanks guys I was sort of thinking that was where the ring was from. Stevie D thanks for the link. By the way thanks for the offer of mig welding bits a while back, I got a PCB and the welder is up a running again.
