Guest
Mike, I know you say that you don't like the cam buckle straps but there are many different types and qualities, some have great grip and some/most are complete pants. I use some on the trailer that are great quality are load rated and have not let me down, I have also had others that are complete rubbish and wouldn't hold their own weight. Maybe you just haven't tried some decent ones. Jason.
roguevogue
What about using buckles, like the ones on a hood, you can pull pretty hard on them, particularly if the free end is lightly held with Velcro.
mmgemini
Mikey They get caught in the back door ! That's all my own fault. Jason It's my fingers, well really my right thumb that makes the cam buckles difficult. Proxxon circular blades cut deep.
forty_two
On the subject of Velcro, we use this stuff at work and I am yet to find something it won't hold. http://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/hook-loop-tapes/4239555/ Hook one side, loop the other, comes on a 10 metre roll, cut to length, if you cut it too short just over lap it and you get a longer piece again.
