theoptimist
Hi guys, looking at fitting 225 70 16 mud tyres to my freelander which has a 2 inch lift, will i get away without using spacers, or will i have to get some spacers, if so which are the better ones to go for? many thanks the optimist
theoptimist
just found a link on mad freelanders, changed my plans to 225 75 16 bfg muds, and ordered 30mm spacers, a chap on there had them on no probs, hope this will help for someone looking to do the same thing. cheers the optimist
simonr
29.3" Tyres on a Freelander should be something! I presume the spacers are just for Steering lock? Si
theoptimist
hi 29.3" Tyres on a Freelander should be something!I presume the spacers are just for Steering lock? Si its to cover the steering lock and stop the tyres hitting the spring bases, the picture on mad freelanders of the chap who has done it looks brilliant, and with the 2 inch lift i should have ground clearance problems, will upload before and after photos next to a standard freelander, for people to see. cheers theoptimist
