bsbanz01 Posted January 10, 2013 Share Posted January 10, 2013 So the front speaker amplifier blew out. So i want to intall a new one using existing wires. There are two connectors that hoos up to the amp and alot of wires coming out of it. I want to know what wires are which. I need to find front L/R and back L/R speakers and their colors at the amplifier connector? Also, the colory of the power wire color at the connector and also the ground wire color at the connector? Remember this is at the connectors that connect down at the amplifier. The rest are to the back amp which i am getting rid of and rewiring anyways. teabag Posted January 11, 2013 Share Posted January 11, 2013 Front L black+ black/white- Front R black+ black/white- Rear L black/yellow+ black/orange- Rear R black/green+ black/blue- The above is taken from the Haynes manual for the disco, with the supply it's usually red and ground is black but you will have to check this with your multimeter, as UK spec disco 1s don't have an amplifer for these loudspeakers.
