uninformed Posted January 14, 2013 Share Posted January 14, 2013 Hey all, I know some have converted drum rear Sals to disc. But has anyone fitted earlier long stub axles and wider hubs to a later Disc rear end? If so what Hub so the a disc will work? Im pretty sure the earlier Stub axle FRC8540 will bolt straight onto the housing flange. But im not sure if a disc rotor can be bolted to the drum hub? Or is another hub say off a RRC going to work? yes other things will be needed like longer axle shafts and probably a custom drive flange to work, but thats easy if upgrading to HD safts etc. Lock nuts, spacers and hub nuts will need to be sorted but that is very easy. cheers Serg Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
