highlandmist
Fished around and found the end of the cable that goes to the side repeater. There was just a connector on the end. Do I just get a bulb to fit in the end ?
western
depends on what type of bulb holder it has see page 673 http://www.retroanaconda.com/landrover/parts_books/110/8_body_electrics_p667-740.pdf either item 5 push in & twist or item 11 push in capless
highlandmist
Thanks, it's the item 11 one. Tried to post a picture of it with original from my phone but it didn't finish uploading. I wonder if these things are generally available in 'normal' autospares shops.
CwazyWabbit
Yep, those bulbs can be bought in most auto shops and some petrol stations
dave1607
If it's a push fit it should be a 501 bulb, I think. Dave
cackshifter
If you have a 300tdi I'd just check the contents of the indicator lens; I had a problem just recently with moss growing on the inside, and it shorted the indicators. I think it gets in through a little hole in the bottom where it is supposed to drain.
western
halfords or any good car spares shop should have the bulbs in stock.
