Mean Green
I have just got my "new" Discovery on the road, but there is a fault with the fuel sender so the gauge show empty regardless of how much fuel is in the tank. So, until such times as I get the sender sorted out I need to guess when to fill up - roughly how many miles should I get from a Full tank in a 200tdi.\ Thanks
ejparrott
I don't know what the tank capacity is, but I'd work on a 25mpg, and that should give you a good idea. There's no definitive answer to your question as I'm sure you realize, all depends on driving style, load carried, terrain in your locality etc. Hope thats of some use. Orgasmic Farmer
Fairly big tank on a Disco. If you fill it every 300 miles you shouldn't run much risk of running out.
axlechorus
Tank is 80 litres, maximum range for myself on a long run is upto 500. Stick to the 300 above and you should be good and be putting in around £60/70 each time which is much more paletable than a fill from empty. Mean Green
Great thanks - thats about where I thought. I just need to remember to reset the counter each time I fill up
Tetsu0san
I get 430+ out of mine, and I know it's not totally empty when I fill up. The low fuel light is on though.
davyd8899
if you stick to a refill after 300 miles you wont be running the risk of dragging rubbish up through the filters, fuel lines etc etc. dont let the guage drop below a quarter in my 300tdi
disco-shane
500 miles in mine but i dont go over 55mph and i get there slowly lol..... if you top up at 300 like the other guys on here say you will know 100% that you will be fine :-)
