Are these going to be available again? I've noticed they've disappeared from the shop and I was hoping to get one.

Cheers

They are not going to be available again I'm afraid!

The problem is there are too many variants on the fuel hose bore used on Land Rovers. To install, you have to cut the hose - and you only find out what bore it has when you cut it.

If the kit does not contain every possible size fitting - you'll get very upset with me because your vehicle is now stranded! The first couple of people this happened to taught me some new rude words!

The original kits were withdrawn and later replaced with a kit containing every combination of size fitting. Unfortunately, IMHO this made the kit too expensive. Sales bore this out - we did not sell one at a realistic price and ended up selling the remaining stock at a loss.

Thus - I'm afraid it's just not viable / practical.

I did manage to get hold of one of the later kits so will be fitting it at some point soon.

Hopefully it'll all go smoothly :)

I've been looking online at a x-eng fuel cut off and after reading this post I've realised they are no longer made. I've tried searching for a similar fuel inline cut off with a key but I can't find any here in the uk. Does anyone have any suggestions?

You can get lockable hydraulic ball valves on eBay. You have to lock it with a Padlock - but it still works. Add a couple of 1/4BSP hose tails and you have something similar!

On one of my previous LR's, I bought an in line solenoid fuel shutoff valve intended for trucks. I threaded this inside the chassis through one of the holes and ran the fuel line inside the chassis too. The wiring for the valve was also threaded through the chassis and came out somewhere completely different. I figured if someone figured it out - they deserve the truck!
