SmasherWebbs
Just remover old and worn clutch slave now wondering how much resistance or play I should be feeling in the push rod. Biting point has always been low and assumed it was always peddle position. now suspect springs or clutch plates are shot.
Vedrover
At the beginning there'll be some free play. After time of working with pedal it'll become firm as should be. As for my clutch.. I don't know why, but I change slave cilinder every 2 years - starts leaking or just lets air in.
SmasherWebbs
2 years hell! Think its sorted now all the air is out and covering everything including next doors cat with dot4 the clutch is better than ever with a few peddle adjustments! The slack in the clutch may have been down to the fact I'm doing this on a slope holding the release leave back. Right one job down few hundred more to go
