hi i'm not sure if this is the right place to post this so sorry if it is not. does any body have any suggestions about the best type of air filters for my set up ,quad su's and any idea where to get them .maybe second hand thanks..

for use in comp safari on a 3.6 v8 cheers

They are not particularly popular ……….. cos they are a right bar steward to setup correctly ………… and the first bump you go over will upset them ……… touchy is an understatement……… ;)

thanks i know but i have been told that my engine was built for these and i like the idea of no delicate electric's to mess me up

Electrics are only delicate when installed by numpties or left to rot for 20 years... my EFi runs underwater.

For air filters, what about some K&N-copy ones off eBay, they're cheap and cheerful and because each carb is only doing 1/4 of the flow you can get away with small-ish ones. I still like the 110 V8 filter boxes though, feckin' huge, off-the-shelf filters for £cheap and probably flow better than a K&N too... definitely filter stuff out better.

ITG do a two part filter that takes two carbs in each filter look cool to
