Bull Bar Cowboy
They are not particularly popular ……….. cos they are a right bar steward to setup correctly ………… and the first bump you go over will upset them ……… touchy is an understatement……… Ian

Bull Bar Cowboy
Maybe so, and I can see where you are coming from ………………. but I bet you will ditch the boxer due to frustration ……….. believe me …… they are a barsteward ……… I reckon it was designed by a depressed manic , hell bent on self mutilation. mwncidur
phone dave marsh at qt, I had my full boxer kit inc filters off him. it was donkey's ago though. I binned them on ebay and went injection, twice as good as carbs.
FridgeFreezer
Electrics are only delicate when installed by numpties or left to rot for 20 years... my EFi runs underwater. For air filters, what about some K&N-copy ones off eBay, they're cheap and cheerful and because each carb is only doing 1/4 of the flow you can get away with small-ish ones. I still like the 110 V8 filter boxes though, feckin' huge, off-the-shelf filters for £cheap and probably flow better than a K&N too... definitely filter stuff out better.
