Maverik
Hi people, looking at the prospect of a new fuel tank for the 110. Genuine is mega bucks, so kinda ruled a genuine one unless someone has one going for considerably less than the retail price... so options are Allmakes - cheapest Bearmarch - 2nd cheapest Britpart - most expensive of the cheapest... Has anyone got any thoughts? from the pictures I've seen they all look the same and probably all come from the same factory in china... landroversforever
Could you get a nice aluminium one made for less than the genuine cost?
Aragorn
Might it be worthwhile considering/investigating fitting a TD5 tank? They're plastic, so wont ever rot...
Maverik
Yeah, I have a discovery to be broken was going to see if I could make that plastic one fit... Not so keen on Aluminium, still very reactive with a lot of things...

j1mb0
Fitted several britparts. One to a 110 and one to a 90. Fitted reasonably well. Horrible job with the 110 was leaking fuel like nothing else and covered in mud n ****.
heath robinson
How's about these?
Maverik
Turns out the fuel return pipe that bolts to the top of the tank had split and totally corroded through, the tank looks really quite solid luckily, just need to try and keep it that way. Thanks for your replies chaps.
