landroversforever
Can some people who are more educated on the subject please enlighten me? What are the different types of heated screen (I think I know of 2 and 3 connection types, but also top or bottom connections?!) Does it make any difference which type I plan for? Only thing I can think of at the moment is it being easier with connections on the bottom of the screen. Thanks in advance all
western
rather than repeat the info, it's all in this thread in part number forum http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php?showtopic=83100 mine is a green tinted laminated 3 terminal type, my terminals are at the top, cos that's the way I wanted it fitted. western
AFAIK all the front heated screens are laminate construction, there are green tint [sundym] or clear [no tint], I believe the most common terminal type is 2 terminals.
Litch
All of mine have been green-tint with three terminals but the first one had the terminals at the top and the replacements have all had them at the bottom. Could just be that the original was a Pilkilngton (I know that because I remember buying it) but the replacements which have been supplied by Autoscreens and the like are a different make (can't get to the vehicle at the moment to check)? Mo Murphy
My genuine screen is by Pilkington and had two tabs at the bottom. HTH Mo
